The role involves processing records in Pastel Accounting, payroll via Pastel Payroll, VAT management, and SARS/CIPC compliance, with strong emphasis on accuracy and filing, contributing to efficient financial control.

Qualifications

• Solid experience using Pastel Accounting and Pastel Payroll.
• Understanding of VAT, PAYE, UIF and SARS compliance.
• Strong bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent administrative and communication abilities.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accurate financial records using Pastel Accounting.
• Manage monthly payroll processing via Pastel Payroll, including PAYE and UIF submissions.
• Reconcile and maintain the cashbook regularly.
• Handle VAT administration and SARS compliance.
• Manage debtors and creditors, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Submit documentation via SARS eFiling.
• Ensure CIPC compliance including annual returns and company updates.
• Provide general administrative and personal assistant support to management.
• Handle correspondence, scheduling, and diary management.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial records.
• Liaise with auditors, SARS, and CIPC.
