Job description

The Business Development Manager, needs to have background in IT Project / Delivery Management (IT consulting experience desirable) and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s customer base. The role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and experience in selling solutions within BFSI or Retail

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in targeted markets.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to increase sales, market share, and customer engagement.
  • Build long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and business cases to prospective clients.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, negotiations, contracting, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance) to support solution development and client delivery.
  • Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance reports using CRM tools.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective account management.
Requirements
  • 8–10 years of experience in IT consulting is highly desirable
  • Proven experience working in IT within BFSI or Retail (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales, solution selling, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and meet revenue targets.
