Job description

Join a dynamic national retail sales and distribution team, where you will be responsible for fostering and growing key relationships within the Western Cape retail investment market. Your primary focus will be on engaging with IFAs, DFMs, multi-managers, and LISP platforms. With a strong presence in the retail investment market, your network and industry experience will be crucial. A collaborative team approach, aligned with the company’s core values, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and distribute the company’s funds to retail markets in the Western Cape.
  • Increase the company’s footprint and brand awareness within the region.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with IFAs, DFMs, multi-managers, and LISP consultants, focusing on selling the company’s funds.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all individuals interested in or invested in the company’s funds.
  • Proactively promote the company in the retail market.
  • Work closely with the institutional team to enhance the company’s brand.
  • Forge partnerships with other fund managers where collaboration is beneficial.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong client network in the Western Cape.
  • Deep understanding of the investment industry, including investment products and structures.
  • Technical expertise in systematic investment management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing, and influencing skills.
  • Relevant degree in Commerce, Investment, or Finance.
  • Preference for candidates with CFP and/or CFA qualifications.
