Role Overview
As a Sales & Store Partner, you'll share full responsibility for:
- Driving sales success, meeting and exceeding personal and shared store targets.
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences that reflect the Flock vibe.
- Managing daily store operations, from opening and closing to restocking and visual presentation.
- Upholding brand standards across displays, communication and styling.
- Building community connections in‑store and online through authentic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers, offering styling advice and product knowledge.
- Drive and monitor sales performance, aiming to exceed targets.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
- Process transactions accurately using Shopify POS.
- Handle customer exchanges, returns and packaging.
- Manage stock control, tagging and replenishment.
- Process and pack online orders promptly (same‑day dispatch when possible).
- Create light in‑store content (stories, styling clips, flat lays) to support marketing.
- Participate in events and pop‑ups that build brand awareness.
- Share responsibility for opening and closing duties, ensuring store safety and readiness.
Work Schedule
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; alternating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM; public holidays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
- Shift overlap allows for lunch breaks and smooth handovers.
Who We’re Looking For
Non‑Negotiables
- Confident, friendly and sales‑driven personality.
- Proven retail or fashion sales experience.
- Excellent English communication (spoken & written).
- Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Tech‑savvy, comfortable using POS, WhatsApp and basic admin tools.
- Reliable transport or valid driver’s licence.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Visual merchandising or styling experience.
- Basic content creation or social media skills (Instagram, TikTok).
- Bilingual (English & Afrikaans or other).
- Based near Cape Town (CBDBonus Extras).
- Passion for creativity, fashion and festivals.
- Experience at markets, pop‑ups or boutique retail.
- Photography or creative direction skills.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary (based on experience).
- Shared commission on total store sales.
