Responsibilities
  • Daily beverage stock take
  • Daily cashup
  • Allocating duties to waitrons, bar staff and day-cleaner (checking of duties)
  • Ensuring cleanliness of restaurant and bar
  • Ensuring restaurant set up & closed correctly
  • Answering telephone and taking reservations
  • Floorplan management (allocating reservations and waiter sections)
  • Recording staff hours, wages and tips on a weekly basis
  • Managing operating equipment and stock
  • Weekly cutlery, crockery and glassware counts
  • Manage breakages and staff discipline
  • Interacting with customers and checking on tables
  • Maintaining professionalism and high service standards
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • Training waiters & bartenders
