Restaurant General Manager – Gardens, Cape Town
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead operations at our vibrant establishment in Gardens, Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of professionalism and performance
- Manage financial aspects including budgeting, cost control, and revenue target achievement
- Monitor stock levels, supplier relationships, and operational efficiencies
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Implement and sustain service excellence, brand consistency, and operational best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Proven track record in premium or high-volume establishments
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent financial and administrative acumen
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with keen attention to detail
- Based in Cape Town and available to start immediately
- Valid police clearance certificate required
Remuneration
- R30, CTC per month (commensurate with experience)
