Role Purpose

A permanent opportunity exists for an experienced Residential Account Manager to join a high-performing sales team in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth in the B2B residential sector through proactive sales engagement, account management, and strategic relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a portfolio of residential B2B clients, focusing on both retention and new business development.
  • Promote products and services through high volumes of daily outbound calls and structured engagement.
  • Present tailored solutions to clients based on their needs and provide accurate product and market information.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments including technical, order processing, and warehousing to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Prepare and present sales pitches, forecasts, and progress reports to management.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and management via the company's CRM system.
  • Set up new customer accounts and process Trading Application forms.
  • Deliver training on the reseller portal and maintain regular contact with clients.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures and report risks or incidents promptly.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 5 years in sales, with at least 3 years in PV or electrical product sales.

Relevant qualification in Sales or Marketing.

Background in Solar PV is highly advantageous.
