Job Description
  • Handles all incoming calls for accommodation, respond to all enquiries in a timely manner
  • Resolves issues with guest in best possible way, bearing in mind the interest of the hotel and the guest
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on sales strategies, rates, products, packages, facilities and inventory at all times
  • Sell our products and services to meet guests needs in line with our concepts, with a focus on hotel profit
  • Follow up on no-shows, commissions and loyalty programs
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with entire hotel focusing on Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Sales and/or Meeting & Events and F&B.
Qualifications

In order to be successful, the candidate needs to possess:

  • At least 1-2 years Reservations experience in a 4/5 star hotel
  • Computer literacy is essential, with experience in using PMS - EMMA/Opera
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills as well as accept a flexible work schedule when necessary
  • The ability to use own initiative and work in a pressurised environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
  • Excellent telephone manner and a clear voice
  • High levels of motivation, enthusiasm and be innovative
