The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is a leading scientific and technology research organisation that research, develops, localises and diffuses technologies to accelerate socio-economic prosperity in South Africa. The organisation's work contributes to industrial development and supports a capable state. The CSIR has a vacancy for a Researcher (Pharmaceutical Technologies) Two-year contract.
About The Job
The CSIR has a temporary vacancy for a Researcher in the Pharmaceutical Technologies research group within the Chemicals Cluster. The incumbent will focus on flow chemistry process development of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and related intermediates, including telescoping of process steps to form continuous batch/flow-hybrid process routes and the integration of in-line, on-line and at-line continuous analytical monitoring. The position is based in Pretoria.
