We're seeking a passionate Research Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator to support our world‑class research mission in the Office of Vice Provost for Research. As our Partnerships Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of Lehigh's research ecosystem, coordinating partnership development, communications, and events for interdisciplinary research teams and centers while strengthening vital collaborations with industry, community, and campus partners.

Position Number: S89991

This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $55,200 - $67,180 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate strategic partnership development across interdisciplinary research teams and centers
  • Plan, organize, and execute high‑impact research engagement events and communications
  • Collaborate with faculty, research center leadership, and administrative offices
  • Provide organizational support ensuring initiatives align with university priorities
  • Enhance visibility and impact of Lehigh's cutting‑edge research activities
  • Support relationship management with industry, community, and campus partners
  • Assist with communications strategy for research engagement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three years related work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with event planning and project management
  • Knowledge of higher education or research environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups
  • The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor
