Landis+Gyr (Pty) Ltd is part of a global organisation engaged in the design, production and distribution of energy metering and energy management products.
The function provides management accounting support to the finance department.
The responsible person must have knowledge of accounting and finance and experience with SAP R / 3.
The role requires communicating externally with reporting controllers within the group and internally with sales, finance, production and executive management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month end on SAP R / 3 including:
- Prepare journals for general ledger posting
- Prepare month end reporting information for key decision makers
- Collate information needed for reports
- Prepare various reports requested by the CFO or financial manager
- Prepare month end external reporting including:
- Input for sales and purchasing plan
- Income statements
- Balance sheet
- Headcount
- Functional cost
- Inter-company confirmations
- Preparing board meeting papers and presentation packs for executive management
- Prepare budgets and forecast inputs
- Prepare cash flow statements
- Project management:
- Cost controlling for Research and Development department
- Software and services division administration
