The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax laws, coupled with 3–5 years of financial accounting experience. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting or auditing.
• Experience with renewable energy projects or SPVs is a bonus.
• Familiarity with automated financial workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS for financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Support VAT returns and tax compliance activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance.

Skills

Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax laws

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional accounting designation (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA)
