Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd invites applications for a Vacancy Technician: Energy Solutions based in Woodmead. The role supports franchise partners with design, setup, and maintenance of customized energy solutions, including generators, solar panels and batteries.

You will assist with technical scoping, BOMs, and collaborate with EPC partners to install, diagnose, and service energy systems, ensuring compliance with SANS standards and safety protocols across projects.

Qualifications

• Matric with a trade test and wireman’s license.
• 3–5 years post-qualification electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Skilled at reading schematics and using testing tools.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EPCs, OEMs, distributors and franchise teams on energy projects.
• Support pre-sales with technical input and site assessments.
• Install loggers and interpret energy usage data to inform system design.
• Perform installations, troubleshooting and maintenance on energy equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical standards and safety regulations (SANS).
• Conduct electrical inspections and issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC).
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to company safety protocols.
