B. Braun is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the Upington Renal Unit in the Northern Cape, SA. You will join a specialized renal team, delivering dialysis, monitoring patients and collaborating with physicians to optimize care.

This onsite role requires Nephrology knowledge and a patient-centered approach. The successful candidate will have SANC/HPCSA registration, renal experience and a BHSc in Nephrology or equivalent, with flexibility for shifts and a valid driver's license to travel as

Qualifications

• Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse or HPCSA as Graduate Clinical Technologist.
• Nephrology course advantageous.
• BHSc Clinical Technology (Nephrology).
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport essential.
• Renal experience (Essential).
• Should be in good health and fit to perform services and/or duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal patient dialysis each day.
• Weigh the patient and take blood before dialysis.
• Document observations hourly.
• Ensure patient satisfaction with treatment before discharge.
• Clean and sterilize machines after each treatment.
• Assist with chronic dialysis and unit duties as rostered.
• Promote patient growth by maintaining relationships with referring doctors.
