Placements24 is offering a remote apprenticeship for Junior Web Development roles in Stellenbosch. You will gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining websites and web applications while working with mentors.

You will learn modern web technologies across front-end and back-end development, contribute to real projects from your home office, and pursue growth into a full-time role as you progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A portfolio of personal projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Eagerness to learn back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP) and database concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration for a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing user-friendly interfaces for websites and apps.
• Write clean, well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Collaborate with designers and senior developers to translate requirements into web pages.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve code quality.
• Test and debug websites for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Learn back-end concepts as part of the apprenticeship.
