Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Virtual Production Specialist to join a forward-thinking team in the Arts & Entertainment sector. This remote-first role focuses on leveraging real-time rendering and VFX pipelines to create immersive digital environments and experiences.

You will collaborate with directors and artists across a distributed team, operate motion capture and real-time rendering workflows, and stay at the forefront of virtual production technologies to deliver cutting-edge

Qualifications

• Experience in virtual production, real-time rendering and VFX pipelines.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and camera techniques for virtual production.
• Experience with motion capture, performance capture, and volumetric capture technologies.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and animation software is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.
• Strong communication for remote collaboration within a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage virtual production hardware and software, including real-time rendering engines and motion capture systems.
• Collaborate with directors and artists to develop and implement virtual sets and environments.
• Integrate live-action footage with CGI elements to create seamless virtual scenes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to virtual production pipelines and workflows.
• Stay current with advancements in virtual production technologies and workflows.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the production team on best practices for virtual production.
