Job summary

This is a remote opportunity for a Video Editor based in South Africa, transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that supports marketing campaigns and client projects.

You will shape narratives with editing, pacing, motion graphics, sound, and visual effects, delivering on-brand videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels while collaborating with marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in video editing with a strong portfolio.
• Experience editing for marketing, social media, or client projects.
• Familiarity with brand guidelines and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content for marketing campaigns, social media, and client projects.
• Develop engaging visual narratives through pacing, sequencing, transitions, and storytelling techniques.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, animations, transitions, sound effects, and other visual elements.
• Collaborate with marketing and project teams to understand briefs, objectives, audience, and brand requirements.
• Adapt content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other digital channels.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and project requirements.
• Manage multiple editing projects with deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Stay informed about emerging video editing trends and tools.
