Job summary

Hire Feed is seeking a Remote Automotive Technical Writer to create clear manuals, guides, and online help for our automotive products. This fully remote role collaborates with engineering, product management, and support to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation.

You will ensure accuracy, follow style guides, and maintain documentation lifecycle using MadCap Flare, Confluence, and Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in automotive or complex tech.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience with documentation tools and CMS (MadCap Flare, Confluence, Git).

Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents such as user manuals, installation guides, service bulletins, and online help articles.
