Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Architectural Sustainability Consultant to join their innovative team. This fully remote role focuses on integrating sustainable design principles into architectural projects for diverse locations, guiding design teams toward environmental certifications and improved building performance.

You will lead energy modeling, LCA, daylight analysis, and material selection guidance, while coordinating virtually with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architectural sustainability consulting or a related role.
• Proven track record in obtaining green building certifications (e.g., Green Star SA, LEED).
• Proficiency with sustainability assessment tools and simulation software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainable design strategies for architectural projects, aligning with client goals and environmental best practices.
• Conduct energy modeling, life cycle assessments (LCA), and daylight analysis to inform design decisions.
• Advise design teams on material selection, water conservation, waste reduction, and renewable energy integration.
• Manage the process for obtaining green building certifications (e.g., Green Star SA, LEED, EDGE).
• Prepare technical reports, case studies, and sustainability guidelines for project teams and clients.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in sustainable architecture and building science.
