The ideal candidate has 7+ years in strategic sourcing and category management, with strong negotiation and analytics skills, and a track record of stakeholder collaboration in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies that deliver measurable results.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and financial information.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience working effectively in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key categories of spend to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier performance.
• Lead complex sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations with major suppliers.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis, supplier assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Drive supplier innovation and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
