You will work remotely with global teams, transforming raw sports data into strategic insights that drive athlete development, team strategy, and injury prevention. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models for athlete performance, injury risk, and game outcomes using machine learning techniques.
• Analyze large, complex datasets from various sources including player tracking, biomechanical sensors, and game statistics.
• Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with sports scientists, coaches, and product teams to integrate data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover new patterns and opportunities for performance improvement.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Significant professional experience as a Data Scientist , with a strong focus on sports analytics or a similar domain.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms , and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
