Miratech in South Africa seeks an experienced Software Architect to define the technical vision for new products and lead architectural decisions. You will guide engineering teams to scalable, production-ready solutions and drive technology strategy in a remote role.
You will evaluate emerging technologies, lead Proof of Concept initiatives, and collaborate with global stakeholders to shape roadmaps, standards, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in software architecture, evolution of products and enterprise solutions.
- 4+ years in a Software Architect or similar role.
- Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns and distributed systems.
- Defining architectural vision and driving strategic technology decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the architectural vision for new products, platforms, and technology initiatives.
- Research emerging technologies and drive Proof of Concept initiatives.
- Design scalable cloud-native, distributed, and hybrid architectures.
- Establish architectural standards and engineering guidelines.
- Lead the technical design of complex enterprise and high-load systems.
