Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 with strong Mathematics and/or Physical Science.
• Passion for technology and software development; self-taught coding is an advantage.
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Access to reliable internet and a suitable home workspace.
• Based in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software applications under supervision.
• Learn and apply programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript based on project needs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Collaborate with team members through virtual communication channels and project management tools.
• Assist in documenting software designs, processes, and user guides.
• Learn and utilize version control systems like Git.
• Contribute to the development of user interfaces and backend systems.
• Engage actively in online training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
• Understand and apply agile development methodologies.
