Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Roofing, to own search for a book of roofing clients across several markets: define the technical roadmap, set content priorities and craft the ranking story for client questions.

You will be the strategic voice at the table, performing technical SEO audits, optimizing site speed, crawl/indexation, and multi-location SEO, while coordinating with writers and AI for drafts and reporting in GA4 and Search Console to inform quarterly roadmaps.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on in SEO: audits and fixes done personally.
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
Agency experience across several clients at once.
Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
SEO for roofing or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
Develop keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI.
Improve visibility in AI search, Google Overviews, and traditional organic results.
Lead links, local search and multi-location SEO where needed.
Provide reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and steer quarterly roadmaps.
