Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Solidity Developer to design, test, and deploy secure smart contracts and dApps on Ethereum compatible platforms. This fully remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere, with a focus on high-quality, gas-efficient code and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on Solidity and smart contract development.
• Proficiency in Solidity and a deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Experience with smart contract development frameworks such as Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry.
• Knowledge of Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities and security best practices.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and ERC standards.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, suitable for a remote environment.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure and gas-efficient smart contracts using Solidity.
• Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and their backend integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional smart contracts and dApp features.
• Perform thorough code reviews and implement best practices for smart contract security.
• Optimize smart contracts for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Integrate smart contracts with frontend interfaces and other Web3 components.
• Troubleshoot and debug smart contracts and dApp functionalities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Ethereum ecosystem and Solidity programming.
• Contribute to the overall technical architecture and strategy for dApp development.
• Participate in the exploration of new blockchain technologies and protocols.
