Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking energetic Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and build pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers while representing Blacksmith to new clients.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools.
• Comfortable managing pipeline in CRM.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
