Placements24 is seeking a Senior Loss Adjuster to join a fully remote team serving clients across South Africa. You will assess damages, determine claim values, and manage the claims process with precision and empathy from a remote location, including Stellenbosch.

Your extensive property/casualty experience and strong negotiation skills will drive fair settlements. You will work independently with a high-volume caseload, using claims software and digital tools.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Construction, Risk Management).
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Loss Adjuster, specializing in property and casualty insurance.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessing various types of property damage and estimating repair costs accurately.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant South African legislation.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage a high-volume caseload, and maintain strict deadlines in a remote setting.
• A strong ethical compass and a commitment to professional integrity.
• Professional certifications or designations in loss adjusting are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
