Placements24 is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its fully remote legal team, supporting operations nationwide while being based out of Benoni. You will provide expert advice on corporate and commercial matters, navigate regulatory requirements, and help drive strategic initiatives with senior management.

Qualifications

Admitted attorney with SA practice rights and 7+ years in corporate/commercial law.
Proven ability to advise on complex transactions and governance.
Strong contract negotiation and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal counsel on governance, contracts and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements including M&A and partnerships.
Conduct legal research to advise on new business initiatives and risks.
Oversee external counsel on specialized matters.
Develop and implement legal policies to improve efficiency and compliance.
