Rosebank International invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science. The role is fully remote, attracting an experienced academic to deliver online courses, supervise Master’s and PhD research, publish extensively, and contribute to curriculum development from anywhere.

You will lead high‑quality teaching across CS disciplines and actively pursue external funding while engaging with the online learning community and international collaborations.

Formación

• PhD in Computer Science or closely related field is mandatory.
• Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals and conferences.
• Experience teaching computer science at university level, online or blended.
• Proven ability to secure research grants and manage projects.
• Expertise in AI, ML, Data Science, Software Engineering or Cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication and virtual interaction skills and LMS proficiency.
• Willingness to contribute to online curriculum development for Durban region and beyond.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deliver online lectures and course materials for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Conduct high‑impact research and publish in reputable journals; present at international conferences.
• Supervise and mentor Master’s and PhD students throughout their projects.
• Develop and update curricula to align with industry trends and technology.
• Contribute to department administration including admissions and program reviews.
• Foster a collaborative online learning environment and seek external research funding.
