Job summary

A leading financial services provider seeks a Senior Financial Accountant for a remote position based in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of post-ACCA qualification experience. Responsibilities include processing client accounts using Xero and QuickBooks, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with VAT. This role offers a short-term contract with the possibility of extension, as well as the requirement to manage local taxes independently.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years post ACCA qualification experience as an accountant.
• Good Excel skills.
• Understanding of Nigerian Tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Process client accounting in software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
• Accurate processing of invoices in accordance with the VAT Act.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly management accounts.
