The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data science with ML for biology, strong Python/R skills, and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. This is a fully remote role offering flexibility and asynchronous collaboration.

• PhD or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or related quantitative field
• Minimum 5 years of professional data science experience emphasizing ML on biological data
• Proficiency in Python or R with ML algorithms (regression, classification, deep learning)
• Experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras
• Strong statistical thinking and understanding of hypothesis testing

About the Role

This role is dedicated to advancing our understanding of complex biological systems through the application of advanced machine learning techniques. You will be instrumental in developing predictive models, analyzing large-scale biological datasets (genomics, proteomics, etc.), and deriving actionable insights to drive our research and development pipeline. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and a solid understanding of biological principles. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models for biological data analysis, including predictive modeling, classification, and clustering.

• Collaborate remotely with bioinformaticians, biologists, and software engineers to define project requirements and integrate ML solutions into research workflows.

Requirements
