About the Role

About the Role Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a specialization in Financial Modeling to join their expanding analytics division. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated financial models using machine learning and statistical techniques (e.g., time series forecasting, regression, classification).

• Build and validate predictive models for applications such as credit scoring, fraud detection, algorithmic trading, and portfolio optimization.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Proven expertise in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning (libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and working with large databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and their application in finance.
