Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics and BI initiatives.

Work with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP), optimize data storage, and develop complex SQL queries and data models. You will collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering experience building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Strong SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their data services.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using cloud-based data services.
• Build and manage data warehousing solutions and data lakes.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data models for efficient retrieval.
