Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, recognition, tracking, segmentation, and 3D reconstruction. Design, train, and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) for image and video analysis. Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to define and implement computer vision features. Build and maintain robust data pipelines for training and evaluating computer vision models. Integrate computer vision systems into larger applications and platforms. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of algorithms and models to ensure accuracy and performance. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the computer vision and AI fields. Contribute to the company's intellectual property through patents and publications. Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the remote engineering team.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision. 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying computer vision solutions. Strong proficiency in Python and C++, along with relevant libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image). Expertise in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Demonstrated experience with algorithms for image processing, feature extraction, and pattern recognition. Solid understanding of camera geometry, calibration and 3D vision techniques. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML model training and deployment is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, essential for a remote work environment.
