Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets.
• Develop and implement computational pipelines for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify biological patterns and biomarkers.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to design studies and interpret results.
• Contribute to the development of bioinformatics tools and software.
• Stay current with advancements in computational biology and bioinformatics methodologies.

• Ensure data integrity and manage bioinformatics workflows efficiently.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in computational biology research.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Proficiency with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., ENSEMBL, NCBI).
• Experience analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
