Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Consultant to join a rapidly expanding blockchain practice. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to Sandton, Gauteng for client engagements.

You will advise enterprise clients on blockchain adoption, identify use cases, design solutions, and guide transformation programs from strategy to delivery. The ideal candidate has deep blockchain knowledge, strong business advisory skills, and a proven ability to lead workshops, develop roadmaps,

Qualifications

• A Master's degree and at least 7 years in consulting or technology strategy with 3 years in blockchain.
• Experience developing and implementing blockchain strategies for large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms and smart contracts.

Responsibilities

• Advise enterprise clients on blockchain strategy, use case identification, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
• Design and architect blockchain solutions tailored to industry requirements (supply chain, finance, healthcare).
• Evaluate blockchain platforms to recommend optimal solutions (Hyperledger, Ethereum, Corda).
• Develop business cases and financial models to justify blockchain investments.
• Manage client engagements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams to oversee development and implementation.
• Stay updated on trends, regulatory changes in blockchain and DLT space.
• Develop thought leadership content and contribute to firm expertise in blockchain consulting.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders.
