Placements24 seeks a Senior Beauty Product Developer to lead end-to-end development of skincare and cosmetic products for a fully remote global team. You will translate market trends into innovative formulations, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across markets.

The role requires a chemistry/cosmetic science background with 7+ years in beauty product development, strong project management, and comms skills to drive collaboration with marketing, R&D, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in beauty product development, ideally skincare and cosmetics.
• Proven success in formulating and launching a variety of beauty products.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic chemistry, formulation techniques, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of global cosmetic regulations (FDA, EU, Health Canada) and safety standards.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in using product lifecycle management (PLM) software is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
