Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As Sales Development Consultant at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers.

You will create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients through thoughtful outreach and high quality communication, using LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and personalization skills.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and outreach

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
