Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach rather than spam, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; SaaS or agency experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with personalized outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Familiar with Salesforce and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
