Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This is not about spamming a list; it’s thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping touchpoints high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Able to personalize outbound outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Experience with Salesforce and building your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
