Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role requires developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust QMS, overseeing QC processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in QA/QC within manufacturing, strong leadership and remote-team management skills, and a proven track record of applying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within manufacturing.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success in managing remote teams and driving quality initiatives across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Establish quality metrics and KPIs, and monitor performance across all operational sites.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
