About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Process Development Engineer to contribute to their innovative research and development initiatives. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while playing a crucial part in designing, simulating, and optimizing novel chemical processes. You will collaborate closely with a globally distributed team of scientists and engineers to bring new chemical products and manufacturing methods from concept to viable industrial application. Key Responsibilities

• Design and simulate new chemical processes using advanced modeling software, focusing on efficiency and sustainability.
• Conduct virtual laboratory experiments and data analysis to validate process designs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for new and improved chemical manufacturing operations.
• Write comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and process documentation for internal review and external partners.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams, including research scientists, project managers, and manufacturing specialists.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in chemical process development and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements
