Placements24 is seeking a Principal AI Research Scientist for a fully remote, international team shaping the next generation of AI. You will lead cutting-edge research across deep learning, NLP, vision, and reinforcement learning, driving publications and practical applications from home.

Collaborate with world-class researchers, mentor junior staff, publish in top venues, and contribute to IP while enjoying a remote-first culture and access to state-of-the-art compute.

Qualifications

• PhD required in CS/AI/ML or related field.
• 7+ years post-PhD research with a strong publication record.
• Strong programming in Python with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pioneering research in AI domains including deep learning, NLP, CV, and RL.
• Develop and implement novel AI algorithms and models pushing state-of-the-art.
• Design and execute research experiments, analyze results, and draw insights.
• Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences/journals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into practical AI solutions.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to AI research community.
• Stay abreast of AI developments and identify opportunities.
• Contribute to IP, including patent filings.
