Crossing Hurdles is seeking a pediatric medical records reviewer to support AI training efforts. You will review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, to assess accuracy and completeness.

The role requires MD or DO board-certified in Pediatrics, strong inpatient documentation knowledge, and the ability to communicate findings to the project team. Experience with chart review or medical coding is a plus. This position is based in South Africa.

Formación

• MD or DO, board certified in Pediatrics (or Pediatrics with a Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification).
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows, including admission, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training.
• Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
• Review inpatient pediatric documentation, including HPI, PMH, birth and developmental history, immunization status, assessments, and plans.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records, including weight-based dosing and age-appropriate clinical details.
• Share feedback to help improve AI models and data quality.
• Communicate clearly with the project team about your work and findings.
