Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As Outbound Business Development Representative at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred, with quota carrying background.
• Minimum 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS exposure is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
