Placements24 is seeking an experienced and visionary Online Mathematics Department Head to lead the development and ongoing refinement of the mathematics curriculum for all online programs. This remote role will manage a team of online educators and drive excellence in teaching and learning.

You will implement innovative online pedagogy, monitor student data, and collaborate with senior leaders to align programs with institutional goals while ensuring flexible, globally accessible learning

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership, preferably in an online educational setting.
Demonstrated experience managing and leading educational teams.
Deep understanding of online learning platforms, instructional design principles, and educational technology.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor the online mathematics teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Oversee the design, development, and refinement of the online mathematics curriculum across all grade levels.
Ensure the implementation of effective online teaching strategies and pedagogical best practices.
Monitor student performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement data-driven interventions.
Collaborate with other department heads and senior leadership to align mathematics programs with institutional goals.
