Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting experienced Mechanical Engineering AI Experts for a fully remote contractor role on a large-scale AI training project. You will review AI-generated answers, solve mechanical problems and help grade assessments.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSc/PhD welcomed) with typically 4–5+ years of hands-on experience and strong problem‑solving ability. CAD/FEA tools knowledge is advantageous for some projects.

Qualifications

Degree, MSc, PhD or recognised technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Typically 4–5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong technical problem-solving ability.
Experience with engineering drawings, calculations, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

Reviewing AI-generated engineering answers for technical accuracy.
Solving mechanical engineering problems.
Creating technical questions, assessments and grading criteria.
Reviewing CAD models, drawings and technical documentation.
Analysing test data, sensors, instrumentation and failure reports.
Producing clear explanations of engineering reasoning.
Supporting AI training with realistic engineering scenarios and technical content.
