You will drive the design and development of next-generation consumer electronics from any location, translating user needs into functional, manufacturable mechanical designs.

The role requires strong CAD skills, experience with manufacturing processes, and excellent remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in consumer electronics or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for consumer electronic devices, focusing on ergonomics and aesthetics.
• Utilize 3D CAD modeling tools to create detailed designs, prototypes, and production-ready drawings.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and perform design-for-manufacturability (DFM) assessments.
• Work closely with industrial designers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing partners in a remote capacity.
• Prepare technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and test procedures.
• Participate in design reviews, prototype testing, and root cause analysis for design-related issues.
