Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Mechanical Design Drafter to join our remote product development team. You will translate engineering concepts into precise CAD drawings and documentation required for manufacturing, working closely with mechanical engineers to ensure accurate models and blueprints.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, effective remote collaboration, and adherence to manufacturing tolerances.

Qualifications

• # Requirements: Diploma or equivalent, Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Develop and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and component lists based on design changes.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate digitally with mechanical engineers to clarify design intent and incorporate feedback into drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of design review materials and presentations.
• Maintain an organized system for managing and archiving all design documentation.
