Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Experience with process simulation software and CAD tools for design and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and redesign manufacturing processes to improve throughput, yield, and OEE.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
• Create and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and minimize downtime.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to their innovative production strategies. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any location while driving critical advancements in manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce costs. This role requires a deep understanding of production systems, a strong analytical capability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with on-site and remote teams to achieve operational excellence from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and redesign manufacturing processes to improve throughput, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies to support production goals and product innovation.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure smooth product introductions and continuous process improvement.
• Utilize data analytics and statistical process control (SPC) to monitor process performance and drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements
